Join Hands & Plan an Event for your Business to Safeguard our Oceans and Mother Earth ! Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico

Earth Disaster ~ By Stefany Hung

After BP's Mexico oil platform exploded, the oil has spreaded more widely from US south to north, including the states of Louisiana, Mississippi to Alabama. With the strong coastal winds and currents, the situation is even more worse. The currents may spread it into the Atlantic and the rest of the ocean.

Experts were worried about the spill's impact and warned that the BP oil Spill May cause Earth Ecological Disaster, and its environmental detriments will not be able to be recovered without huge efforts and a long term plan.

What else we can do?

I came out an idea

- Join Hands and Plan an event for your Business to Safeguard our Oceans and Mother Earth!

The business owners who run resorts or hotels nearby beaches in Taiwan, can plan and start an event - Join hands to safeguard our Ocens and Mother Earth!

They can offer some discounts to attract more visitors to the beaches. On one hand, it can increase business incomes; on the other hand, it can raise people's awareness on environmental protection.

My idea is that-

People can hand in hand to form "the figure of Earth" via a human chain. If the event can be held at night, everyone can hold a LED light in green to demonstrate the determination to safeguard our oceans & mother earth!
Music and beach clean-up are parts of the event for sure!
